Welcome to Northome School's Anishinaabe Studies Program.
In our elementary school, we now have Ojibwe language! Our Indigenous Studies Coordinator goes into the K-6 classrooms various times throughout the week and speaks Ojibwe with the students.
Our high school students 6-12 may now join the Anishinaabe Quiz Bowl Team. A schedule will be out soon. Check the Anishinaabe Studies board outside of the Anishinaabe Studies room for updates.
Our Anishinaabe Studies room is now open. Students may go into the Anishinaabe Studies room to do their homework, or study about Native people. It is also open to learn Ojibwe language.
Parents are welcome to come in and check it out.
