The Mini Mustang Preschool program is a part of the Northome School, which shares the commitment to world class, child-centered excellence. Our program focuses on preparing children for kindergarten by following Minnesota’s Early Learning Standards and implementing research-based curriculum and assessment. We believe that participation in classes enhances children’s learning and development through structured environments, differentiated instruction and parent engagement.

VPK is a high-quality publicly funded prekindergarten program designed to prepare eligible 4-year old children for success as they enter kindergarten the following year. VPK uses play-based learning, coordinated transitions to kindergarten and family-centered program planning to create high-quality early learning opportunities that meet the needs of each child.
