The robotics program is divided into four main activities.
Robot -- Team members build a robot out of Legos and then program it to do different tasks on a game board. The team will be judged on the Design of the robot and how they chose and developed their Missions.
Research -- Team members determine a problem, research the problem and come up with possible solutions. Teams are strongly encouraged to develop, build and put into action their solutions. They then create a 5 minute presentation to demonstrate what they have learned.
Programming -- The teams use the Lego Mindstroms EV3. The team will be judged on their understanding of the Programming of the robot and how they used that knowledge to control their robot.
