Welcome to 4th grade!

My students and I sometimes need to take the roads less traveled.  When a student steps into my classroom, they know that they are unique and that I have a program just for them.  No child is ever overlooked in my classroom, and no child goes without a hello or some type of praise every day.

My theory of teaching is simple, everyone can learn and will learn but we all learn at different rates and stages and by different methods.  All children are wonderful and have so many things to offer to the world and society- sometimes we need to help them discover and highlight what makes them unique.  I try to develop in my students a belief that they are capable of most things, they may have to ask for help sometimes but that is okay.  I want my students to leave my room with the idea that they can do anything that they put their minds to.

"Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference."

-Robert Frost
